The MDL Chime developer support area is designed to assist you with using the product. To download MDL Chime, go to the main Downloads section of www.mdl.com.
MDL Chime is a plug-in that interactively displays 2D and 3D molecules directly in Web pages. You can rotate, reformat, and save the molecules for use in other programs.
Anyone familiar with HTML can quickly and easily add chemical structures to Web pages. If you are familiar with Rasmol or CSML scripting, you can create interactive Web pages. |

| |
MDL Chime allows you to control the plug-in by providing various EMBED tag options. You can define display properties, such as color, 2D or 3D display, rotation, etc.
You can manipulate the 3D display mode using Rasmol script commands. Chime offers additions to the Rasmol scripting language.
Developing Chime-based pages is very easy. Use the tutorials to find information on building Chime pages. |
