This half-day course takes excerpts from the full-day Managing Biological Information course to introduce experienced users of MDL® Assay Explorer to the new functionality in Assay Explorer 3.0.
This transition course covers the new graphical data views, viewing calculations in the new calculation engine, creating and using setup files, using Assay Explorer Express, and using the Job Monitor and the Assay Explorer Server.
For sites that do not use the Assay Explorer Server and Job Monitor, other content from the Managing Biological Information course can be included to complete the half day of instruction.
Course Objectives
The participants will be able to:
Review the use of Assay Explorer building blocks in creating experiments
Use the new graphics display interface to analyze and display data in tabular, scattergram, or grid format, generate curves, and generate calculated results
Use Assay Explorer Express
Create and use setup files
Create jobs and use the Job Monitor for batch registration of data

Experienced user of previous versions of Assay Explorer
