See MDL's comprehensive discovery informatics solutions for chemistry at Pacifichem 2000! Stop by Booth #311 to see what we have in store for you!

The products we will be demonstrating are:
The key to successful discovery research is the ability to link from synthetic methodology databases and major reference works to the primary literature. Also key is the two-way link between the synthetic methodology databases and major reference works. How can scientists link this information with just one mouse click? With LitLink Servers. LitLink/Standard Server and LitLink/Pro Server are innovative software programs that link literature citations in your desktop applications to journal articles, patents, and other documents.

A chemist can browse synthetic methodology databases and, after finding a reaction of interest, hyperlink into the location in the major reference works where that particular methodology is described in detail. Conversely, the chemist could be browsing the major reference works, read about a particular methodology and want to see examples of reactions using the same methodology and hyperlink from a reaction in the major reference works to a set of reactions of the same type in the synthetic methodology databases.

With MDL’s LitLink Servers and extensive selection of databases, there is no doubt that finding the right synthetic methodology will be quick and efficient. Come to MDL’s booth or our sessions and see how we can help you!

The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies, Pacifichem 2000, was established to disseminate recent research results in the chemical sciences among chemists of the Pacific Rim countries, thereby fostering industrial development, improve local and global environments, and the material well-being of their peoples. The Congress is cosponsored by the ACS, The Chemical Society of Japan, Canadian Society for Chemistry, New Zealand Institute of Chemistry, and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
